` sky. ` Foxpool's howl split through the buzz of the other wolves' conversations, and through Sky's concentration on Liaa. She turned her head towards the red she-wolf, wishing she hadn't called for the start of the Gathering. Looking back at Liaa, she murmured softly, "Go find somewhere to site, we'll speak later." And with that, she whipped around and bounded away, making one graceful leap back onto the Mossy Rock and settled down in her spot.

Why should Foxpool have all the fun? Starvision thought bitterly. So, Starvision howled along with every member of Pack Shadow. A plan was brewing in camp, Foxpool was nothing without her warriors. And soon, soon enough, Foxpool would not have her army of kittens-called-wolves anymore. The pack she led clearly was filled with spoiled, over-zealous, pompusly ignorant, wolves who, once shown the truth would turn on their leader.

FOX
Foxpool stopped howling, and stared hard at Starvision. Her eyes gleamed with a strange light, and Foxpool didn't like it. Quietly she slipped down to where Eagletalon and Silver were waiting. "Starvision is up to something. I don't know what she is planning, but the way she looked at me..." Foxpool trailed off. In a flash, she had returned to the rock. Starvision was too busy howling with her wolves, and the others hadn't noticed, or if they had weren't saying anything.
EAGLE
Eagletalon looked nervously at Starvision. What was going through her mind? What was she planning? Could she perhaps be...jealous? But why of Foxpool? If anyone, she should be jealous of Moonfeather, descendant of Moonblaze. But Moonfeather didn't flaunt her legacy. She was a little nervous of it, actually.
MOON
Moonfeather heard a voice in her head. This was not unusual. Her ancestors often spoke to her. Do not trust the one with eyes as unreachable as the stars... It was a soft voice, female, definitely not Moonblaze. The voice was quiet, and sounded like her mother's...but different, with a strange trill to it. I am Moon, your mother's sister. When Bloodpool first started harassing our pack, one of his first raids was simply to kill and destroy. They invaded the nursery. Your mother survived her wounds. I did not. Now do not forget my warning, Moonfeather. Stars are unreachable. We wolves will never quite understand them. They will whisper in your ear words of lies and betrayal. Do not trust the stars, no matter what promises they make... A chill ran up Moonfeather's spine. Her fur prickled, and she thought again of the words... Do not trust the one with eyes as unreachable as the stars... Moonfeather's aunt seemed to whisper again in her head.

"Go find somewhere to sit, we'll speak later" her leader had told her. But she couldn't stay longer. Mason, Kiia, Lanii, Lyle, and Junii were waiting for her in the cave outside of the lands. Mason was a good father but the pups were quite a pawful. So she left as Starvision howled.
She sprinted through the woods and picked up a deer she had pre-placed before going to the gathering. When she made it back to the cave, Mason came forward. All the pups but Lyle were asleep. "They're sleeping, Liaa." Mason murmured. "Good, better for travel." Liaa replied. At this Mason looked very puzzled. "We're going home, Mason! Home!" Just then Lyle stepped up to his mother. "Mother? where is home if we have been here all of our lives?" "Lyle," Liaa said as she combed her son's beautiful auburn fur, "Your mother is the deputy of a pack in the forbidden forests. And, mama's going home to her pack, and you will come with me and your father." "oh," Lyle answered "when are we leaving?" Lyle is quite a quizzical child. Kiia jostled as Lanii and Junii jumped up from their slumber. "Deer! Deer! Mama brought us Deer!!" the girls squealed in unison. 'Calm down girls, Junii, go wake Kiia, we're all going somewhere." Mason growled at the rambunctious girls. Junii ran and grabbed Kiia out of sleep and dragged the gray furred pup to the center of the cave, where Lyle, Lanii and Liaa were eating. Mason nudged Kiia toward the Deer and growled again at Junii.
Once everyone was finished eating the family started off toward the gathering place. Mason trailed behind Junii and Lanii and Liaa led Lyle and Kiia. The forest began to thin and mixed mummers from wolves became audible. Turning around Liaa spoke to her family, "Welcome home. Pack Illusion awaits my return. And they could never expect you, which is most heart warming." then, for the second time Liaa walked in to the clearing. And behind the Illusion deputy walked in four new Illusion apprentices and a new Warrior.

Starvision stopped howling and began to speak to the wolves at the gathering place.
"Good Tidings friends! Welcome to the scared gathering." She began, "The moon is bright. The spirits must be charmed by our truce." "But enough with salutations and greeting measures! I have an announcement to make..." the leader was stopped short. Something rustled at the edge of the gathering place.

` sky. `Sky sat calmly, listening to Starvision as she took charge, as usual. It seemed as if the Pack Shadow leader always had to be first. She rolled her eyes, then noticed that Liaa was no where to be found. Worry lanced through her again. Hopefully her deputy had not left again . . . But what is she had? 'Liaa, where are you?!' Sky thought desperately. Suddenly, Starvision trailed off as a rustle in the bushes at the edge of the clearing sounded softly and out stepped Liaa, a male wolf and four pups, all healthy and looking around with wide eyes.
Sky gasped and jumped down from the rock again and bounded excitedly over to Liaa. She looked down at the four pups with a loving gaze; she was so proud. "Are they yours Liaa?" asked Sky softly. Oh what a stupid question, of course they were hers! Happiness sparkled in her eyes as she looked over at the male wolf. She nodded to him, accepting that he was one of her own pack's warriors. He looked strong, muscles rippling under his lush fur. "Every one of you are welcome in my pack. I have never been so proud of anyone, until now. She waved her tail at Liaa. "Thank you, thank you so much." And with that, she threw back her head, shaping her lips into a circle and howled. It was a beautiful sound, the true song of a wolf.

Liaa responded to her leader with only a smile. Yes, Lyle, Lanii, Kiia, Junii were hers. She could not envision a life without Mason and her 4 erotic pups. They were her life and she was overjoyed to see that Sky would accept them as true Wolfs, members of Pack Illusion, this was a mother's dream. "Mother, who is this wolf formidaly known as Sky?" Lyle asked. "Yeah mama, who is Sky?" Lanii and Junii screeched Kiia yawned. Mason laughed, his laugh was deep and throaty, the kind of laugh that only a strong wolf could embody. "Dearest children, and my beloved, Sky is the leader of a pack in the forests. Your mother is her loyal and faithful deputy who, in recent times, has not been so faithful. Alas of my transgressions against the packs of the great forest I have come back with my children and mate after seeing it a fit time for my return. Pack Illusion needs me now, and you will all love the forests, so instead of plan A, I have implemented plan B, the plan to welcome my family to the forests." Liaa replied to calm the quizzical inquisitions of her children and mate. Again, Mason laughed. Kiia yawned, Lanii and Junii were already bored with their mother's explaination and continued to walk around and gaze, flabbergasted at the wonders of the gathering place. And like the child he was, Lyle sat obediently at Mason's side, but his eyes portayed the curiosity of kitten whom was gazing at his home for the first time. "Liaa, you have helped me through so much since we first met," Mason began softly, " When I left Zanto's Cult I had no idea where to go, or who to be. Mariah and Eric were dead and their mother, Destiny had left me cold and alone. Then as I ran deeper and deeper into nowhere I saw you. Cold, alone, defenseless. But your spirit was not broken. And you insited that mine wasn't either." Mason continued. Mixed signs came from the pack wolves, was Mason going to leave Liaa and his four tiny children? "Mason..." Liaa whined, streching out her paw toward her mate. Mason nudged her paw away with his muzzle. "No, Liaa, I'm not going anywhere, I belong with you. But there's someone who seems too familiar as if they were with me in the purge." Mason stuttered staring at a wolf in the background. Silver-Knight. Liaa looked toward Silver-Knight, the wolf was not special looking but, she had a scar. What difference could a scar make?

"Silver-Knight"
The grey wolf stared at the male wolf who had just entered the gathering place. His face, his snout, his scar, they were all eriely familiar. Seeing the Red furred wolf made her think about the dream she had a fortnight ago. Ciande had come to her in a dream. The great wolf spirt of Fire, came to her in a dream. The dream was uncanny. Wolves were scattered in a large clearing, tan wolves, red wolves, amd black wolves were in the same Pack...this must not be the Packs, she thought. Then a black and red wolf jumped high onto the rock slice in the center of the clearing, in his mouth were three small pups. "Members of the cult, there has been a birth. Zane, an honored member of our cult has produced three pups for the welfare of our Cult." the large wolf said after he put the pups dow on the ledge below the rock itself. A male wolf stepped forward to join the 'leader'. The leader then followed the beaten path out of the clearing, with the male wolf and the pups trailing close behind. Ciande led her, too, out of the clearing where a she-wolf waited in a smaller clearing. The male wolf dropped he pups and imeaditly one ran off into the forests. The male wolf ran to get it but, he was stopped by his leader. "No, Zane. Don't follow the worthless lump of fur." he sneered. Zane rounded into himself, trying to forget that awful remark. "And you, you girl!" he gnarled at the she-wolf, "You are and will always be a disgrace to me. My Father, Zanto, he created this Cult and you, worthless lump disgrace it with every pawstep!" then he spat in her general direction. The saliva missed her face but instead grazed her whiskers, sending a shiver of fear fown her spine. Zane moved to defend her but the leader raked him across the throat an Zane whimpered and fell. "Zane!" the she-wolf screamed, stabding up to run towards her mate. Once more Zane whimpered. He tried to get up but he fell down again. Zane didn't move again. "Look! Blood you've killed him! Why?" she screeched at Blood. Blood circled around the two remaining pups shooting venomus glares at the she-wolf during his rotations. "Why?" the she-wolf whispered as her stroked her now dead mate. "Because! You could have loved me! ME!" he shouted. "I could have undone all of your disgraces, but no! You chose him." Blood spat again. Staring at the female pup he slashed a single claw at her. Blood's claw made contact and the female pup let out a wolf-like caterwaul. Instantly the male pup moved over to hep his sister but he too was slashed. The marks were nearly identical. "See, hhmm?" Blood hissed, I am more powerful than Zane over there. He threw his head violently in Zane's direction. "Stop!" the she-wolf begged s once more Blood moved to attack the helpless pups. Then, from what Silver-Knight saw, Ciande let one paw strike Blood, and from hat hit the tyrant fell dead.
"This, my young child is true. What you remember is not. The spirits said that you would find peace in truth. Have you? Because now, the long story has ended. But, now a new, bigger, better, greater story must begin. He will return. But when...only the spirits know." Ciande chuckled. When the dream had fist appeared to her she had no I dea what it meant. Now, staring at the flame colored male, she knew.
Ciande had meant her brother would reunite with her. And now....at least she thought...maybe..he did.
"Brother!" she yelled from where she sat. Then, as if seeing the spirits she ran toward him. Fasterand Faster did she gain speed, her brother was here.
Ciande whispered in her head, "Yes child, your brother has returned. But might I ask...which one?" once more Ciande laughed his firey laugh as he disapeared from Silver-Knight's head. "What do you mean Ciande? What other brother is there?" she wondered softly, but her wonders ceased as she bowled into Mason.
Starvision
Starvision was peeved. "awww! she thought. a wittle fam-wee gathering together! How...repulsive" Liaa and her family had ruined and saved the leaders plans at the same time. "Liaa may have no idea what she has done, but now an even greater sophisty may begin." she thought with a demonic tone in her head.Turning away from the comotion all of Pack shdaow slipped out of the back entrance to the gathering place. Leaving all the other wolves to wonder - and to fear.

FOXPOOL Foxpool was immediately alert. Just where did Starvision think she was going? EAGLETALON Eagletalon's mouth dropped open. Where was Starvision going? And why? What was so important that she had to leave the gathering? MOONFEATHER Moonfeather was only watching the reunion, so she didn't notice a second wolf appear beside Ciande. This wolf was huge, and a strange mix of startlingly white fur and black fur. Wherever this wolf walked, silver pawprints were left behind him. ~~MOONBLAZE~~ I appeared beside the new wolf spirit of Fire, Ciande. I looked down at her. "Keep the gathering peaceful. I'm going to find out what Starvision is up to..." I lifted off from the ground and unfolded giant white wings. No wolf was looking up. I soared through the forest. There! Starvision was slinking through the trees. I pulled my wings into a dive, and landed right in front of Starvision, my wings and hackles raised, my entire body glowing silver. "JUST WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING, STARVISION!" I snarled. It was decidedly not a polite query, meant to be answered if you gave your consent. It was a command question, something that was meant to be answered right then and there. With my eyes I simply dared Starvision to lie to me, the Great Wolf Spirit of the Stars, Moonblaze!

Starvision, in answer to Moonblaze, turned swiftly around with her warriors and proceeded back to the gathering place without as much as a gesture. "This is not the end you flea bitten spirit. Your time has to come sooner or later, when I control thses forests the only spirit who will rule with me is Xia." behind the leader a young warrior gasped. "How dare you speak her name? X is the spirit if true darkness! And you WANT her to rule bedside you?" the she-wolf said, surprised at the request. Swinging her forepaw, Starvision raked the disaprovng warrior across the underbelly. The young warrior whined and swiftly ran toward the gathering place. Eager to get away from the vicious and powerhungry leader.

~~MOONBLAZE~~ I flew to the gathering ahead of Starvision, appearing to all the wolves and speaking in a thunderous voice as Starvision entered. "The spirits do not "rule" with anyone, Starvision! They rule your afterlife! Spirits cannot be destroyed or cast out. ESPECIALLY by XIA! XIA rules Xiandar, the place for the wolves that break the code in horrid, twisted ways! IF I SHOULD DECIDE THAT YOU GO TO XIANDAR WHEN YOU DIE, STARVISION, XIA WILL HAVE NO MERCY ON YOU!!" Lightning crackled overhead, and a white bolt reached down from the sky, touching Starvision's place on the rock. It didn't hurt the other wolves, but the place where Starvision had sat was scorched black, the moss shriveled up and burned. "Might I remind you, Starvision, that you have not yet gone to Star Lake. Last I checked, Xia was not in charge of giving out leadership powers. I AM IN CHARGE OF THAT. And I most certainly do NOT have to give them to YOU." I whirled around and vanished to the Spirit Mountain, but not before looking warningly at Ciande. I was in a rather bad mood.

Whisperleaf stood their, in deep shock at the least. She stood their for a moment, gasping, then took a step forward. "Starvision left..." she whispered to herself, though she could see her in the distance, coming back. She trembled; what could this pack leader do to the forest if they had dignity to leave? She mumured in a soft voice to herself, "Pack Shadow is strong with a feirce leader... never trust her."
Talonclash shook in anger after following his leader out. As they turned back, Starvision said, "This is not the end you flea bitten spirit. Your time has to come sooner or later, when I control these forests; the only spirit who will rule with me is Xia." "Xia!" snarled Talonclash, as a young warrior pelted away, whining. "How could you say something like that? Moonblaze is the only true spirit that we trust and live by."

AM I A . . . Syn?! [/size] Syn stared at his leader, disbelief darkening his once warm amber eyes. He made sure his leader couldn't see him, in fear that she would snap at him for doubting her plans and wishes. Why was she so power hungry? What was the need to control the whole forest? It was a stupid idea to Syn, and sometimes, he felt that he would go mad from all the power-gluttony of Starvision. Yes, he respected the she-wolf, but really, did she have to be so crazy?
[ooc: Please don't include anymore random made up wolves, the only reason I did that with Sky was because she had no one in her pack. And please watch the powerplaying, I've spotted a couple posts with a little bit in them. Nothing big, but please watch it. Thanks! ^^]

FOXPOOL
Foxpool flexed her paws and snarled. What Moonblaze said was true. Somehow, she had to restore order and continue the Gathering. She raised her voice above the whispers and open threats.
"We leaders shall talk over this later. For now, the truce of the gathering must be maintained and we must continue. As many wolves are not keen on listening to Starvision speak, her turn at this gathering is over. I have some good news to give to counter the bad. All packs, including Shadow, are allowed to come to the river to drink. The only thing I ban from you is crossing the river. On another note, the fish levels are low, but many animals come to the river to drink, so the prey is fine.I will allow hunting on your side of the riverbanks, too, if it is scarce in Shadow. Sky, what have you to say about your pack?"
EAGLETALON
Eagletalon breathed a sigh of relief. Tension had been running high until Foxpool spoke. Maybe order could be resumed, though slightly dampened.
MOONFEATHER
Moonfeather also breathed a sigh of relief. In her eyes, Foxpool had managed the situation perfectly. But how would everyone else react, especially Starvision? Moonfeather hoped she wouldn't cause more trouble. Enough trouble had already been caused.

`sky.`Sky nodded to Foxpool as she stepped back to let Sky speak. What was there to say about her pack? Plenty, was to be said. She also had to thank Foxpool for allowing them access to the river. She took a step forward, though her eyes were still on the Waterfall leader, and started to speak, loud and clear. "Thank you, Foxpool, for allowing us to drink from the river. My Pack is grateful to you. Now she turned to the crowd if wolves below her, their eyes and ears waiting for her next words. "My Pack was losing its members, one by one, and my deputy had vanished. It seemed as if all hope was gone for Pack Illusion. Today, I had planned on saying something different than what I am about to say now, and I am grateful that I did not have to say it. Anyway, my Pack will soon thrive once more, as I have new apprentices, ready to be taught the ways of Illusion. I welcome Mason, Lyle, Kiaa, Junii, and Lanii to my pack." Sky stepped back and wagged her tail at Whisperleaf, telling her that she was done, and that it was now her turn.
