Sky flicked her tail at Whisperleaf, signaling that it wa sher turn to speak. Ignoring this, Starvision stepped forward. "Wolves! The full moon is almost over and the truce wanes..." her eyes filled with power, she was about to order an attack on the entie Gathering. "Atta-" the leader's shouts were muffled as she fell to the floor. Another wolf had attacked the leader.

(Yes, I have permission to Powerplay Starvision.)
"Enough!" Alyia screamed as she launched herself at her own leader. Starvision had gone too far this time, Alyia would not stand back and watch Shadow tear into the other Packs like savages. Starvision fell to the ground, and growled at her, Alyia was not afraid. "You've done too much, and I will not bare the burden any longer. Resign, Resign as leader and leave the forests." Alyia hissed at Starvision. "Why? So you can control the forests, was my reign not good enough, you half-blood mutt!" Starvision spat at Alyia. Alyia stepped off of the leader, and hissed once more, "Resign, you foul excuse of a vigilant leader, resign!" the words were strengthened by the sole presence of Ciante. "Starvision, you have violated the Wolf Code. Your deputy, exuse me, the new leader of Pack Shadow is right, you are not a good leader. And I force you to resign." Ciante said. Brushing herself off, Starvision left the clearing. But not without parting words, "I'll be back..." The words were ominus but hollow. "Puh-leezz" Ciante whispered. Breathing heavily, Alyia stared faithfully into the eyes of the wolf spirit. She was now a leader, she had to act like one.
(Yes, I have consent to remove Starvision as leader by her RPer. She has requsted this so that she can spend her time as a dedicated Healer to Pack Lighntning as her charrie Silver-Knight. Thanks)

Am I a. . .
Syn?! Syn watched with growing disbelief as Alyia attacked Starvision. The deputy had attacked the leader. What was the world coming to?! But soon, his disbelief and shock turned to amazement and admiration when Starvision actually backed down to Alyia. He always knew she was a good choice for leader. He stepped forward and dipped his head to his new leader, accepting her rule. "Thank you, Alyia," whispered Syn. He felt that he had to thank her for some reason, but he didn't know exactly why. He turned around and resumed his position in the crowd of Shadow wolves.
[ooc: Wow, go Alyia! xD]

FOXPOOL
Foxpool winced slightly as Alyia attacked Starvision. No blood was spilled, however, so the truce was still in effect. She wagged her tail slightly. Evil had been quelled, for now at least. "Now we can finally go on with the gathering as it should be," she murmured to Sky. "And Alyia can speak."
MOONFEATHER
Moonfeather glanced at the stars. Somewhere, Moonblaze breathed a sigh of relief.

` sky.`Sky nodded to Foxpool, then stood up. She wagged her tail at Alyia, calling her to the Mossy Rock. She was now a leader, and so she could assume her position on the rock face, just like the rest of them. She smiled at the newly appointed wolf. "Come Alyia, you have every right to sit here now."

Alyia was numb. She had just sent her leader into exile, and she felt powerful and all, but she had no idea how to run a pack. Sky had spoke to her, pulling her out of her not exactly lucid trance. Blindly, she nodded her head. Staring up at the Mossy Rock she estimated the jump, she thn jumped and took her position on the rock. The other leaders seemed like they were waiting for her to speak. "As you can hopefully tell, things are not going well in Shadow. We Ovbiously have a new leader, myself, and...and..." Alyia stammered. "T-t-the first task that I wish to undertake, is the naming of our new deputy." Alyia stared out at the crowd. Who would be a suitable deputy. Syn? Maybe, but there were so many others... Puting that question temporarily to rest, Alyia began to speak again. "But, before I name the deputy I wanted to let you all know that the Lands by Shadow have finally been giving plentiful herbs and much prey. Erm..." Alyia was nervous, she had taken down the tyrant of a leader with confedince, but now? Now Alyia was a wreck. Once more Alyia stared down at all of the wolves of Pack Shadow. Who would she choose?

FOXPOOL
Foxpool wagged her tail encouragingly, and nosed Alyia's fur gently. "You can name the deputy at the end, if you'd like, after we have finished speaking," she whispered, then chuckled. "I remember when I became leader after Flowerpool died. I goofed at the first gathering and jumped about a mile when a lightning bug landed on my nose!" Foxpool shook her head, remembering old times.
~~MOONBLAZE~~ I breathed a sigh of relief. The gathering's truce had been kept, and Starvision had been overthrown. I always knew Alyia would make a strong leader. She is a perfect choice to guide Shadow, even if she doesn't think she is good now.

Cerina .of.◊.the.◊.water. Cerina sat next to Moonblaze, her wings pulled in tightly against her body, a small breeze stirring her fur. She saw the relief in his gaze as they both watched Alyia take her position as leader beside the others. A small smile graced her lips as the stammered words of the new leader floated up to her ears. "We can only hope that she'll be able to rebuild Shadow. Isn't that right Moonblaze?

~MOONBLAZE, the Great Wolf Spirit~
I nodded in agreement. "I believe that Alyia will be a fine leader. She'll be able to rebuild Shadow. She just needs to believe in herself." I stretched my pure white wings and raised my foreleg. A pure white falcon spiraled out of the sky and alighted on my paw. He was my familiar, Siak. Spirits sometimes took an animal spirit as their familiar, if they had felt guided by a particular creature during their life. Mine was the white falcon, which had guided me in that time before time was kept to the old forest, now the Tail-less Village. I was sad to watch it fall to the Tail-lesses. They had advanced in disturbing ways. They had now learned to capture horses and other animals and farm, and had somehow managed to erect huge stone dens with windows of clear, unmelting ice in multiple colors. I whispered gently in Siak's feathers, and the falcon took off again, spiraling down through the clouds, until he was lost from sight. The falcon had gone to scout the village, to see what things were taking place there. I felt that they would be no trouble, for they still had no success in conquering the mountains of Rulendai. They were too small to get into the river tunnel, and besides, they were poor swimmers with their sagging removable pelts.

Cerina .of.◊.the.◊.water. Cerina nodded in response to Moonblaze's statement. He was right; Alyia would make a very good leader, and she would be much better than Starvision. She would lead Pack Shadow with respect for the spirits, and she knew the new leader would live up to their expectations. "I hope her leadership will be a a peaceful reign."

"Well," Liaa thought, this seems to be quite an interesting gathering tonight. Mason read her mind and a mrrow of cool laughter escaped him. Now, all that was left was for Alyia to choose a new deputy.

FOX
"Then it is decided," Foxpool said, looking pleased. "So Syn for deputy. And I believe that this gathering has lasted long enough. Let's all go home and get some rest," she advised. Lifting her nose into the air, Foxpool howled, "Waterfall! Let's go!" and jumped down off the rock.
EAGLE
Eagletalon padded after Foxpool, glancing at Silver on the way out. "C'mon, Silver. Look, it's moonset already!" Eagletalon pointed his nose towards the west, where the moon was slipping down over Shadow rocks. A thin golden glow had appeared on the horizon, and the moon was faint and hardly visible.
MOON
Moonfeather watched Waterfall leave. Perhaps some others would stay to talk, or perhaps they would disperse without a word. Moonfeather let out a massive yawn, and put her head on her paws for a quick nap.
